DRAGONS SCHOOL PHANTOMS, 9-2


The Phantoms ran into the Grey Dragons for a third time this season, and once again it was a shootout. Except the Phantoms didn't participate. The Dragons crushed the Phantoms 9-2, while outshooting them 45-18. The Dragons scored a combined 26 goals against the Phantoms this season, sweeping the season series.

Not much to report in the highlights department, except Mike Faulise got his first point of the season on a slapper from the point to cut the lead to, umm, seven. There were plenty of penalties handed out in the game, with the Phantoms racking up a combined 32 PIMs.

The Phantoms still have playoff aspirations, but the road got a whole lot bumpier with the loss to the Dragons. They will face off against the Raiders next Sunday and must win to have any hopes of a playoff spot.
